Gao Lan, Senior Vice President and CHRO of Lenovo Group, is responsible for overall human resources management in Lenovo. Joined in 2009, Lan held several Vice President roles leading many teams, including Emerging Markets Group HR Partner, APLA & China Geo HR Partner, People & Organization Capability, HR Strategy & Operations, and Data Center Group HR Partner. She became CHRO & SVP in 2016.

Before joining Lenovo, Lan worked as HR leader for several MNC, i.e. HRD for Novartis China, HR VP for APAC in Thomson, HR VP of AP Gas in BP.

Lan holds a MPhil Degree from Cambridge University in UK and Bachelor Degree of Science from Nankai University in China. She also studied Human Resource Management at the Western Management Institute of Beijing and completed the Leadership Excellence for Business HR Program at Stanford University in the US.

Lan is member of World 50 CHRO, council for CHO 100 in China, Executive Member of China HR management and Practice Committee of Business School of Remin University.
