The United Nations Global Leadership and ESG Programme (UNGLEP) was co-developed by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Social Impact Investment Foundation (SIIF). Its core mission and goals are to leverage the resources and channel strengths of the United Nations system and other international NGOs, empower all partners, foster global strategic leadership in green transformation and science-technology innovation while cultivating ESG leaders with practical skills, to facilitate the progress of achieving SDGs and addressing the most urgent and significant challenges such as the global climate crisis, its provide systematic capacity building and innovative practical solutions. The work focusing: 1. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ; 2. Global green leadership and climate action; 3. Global youth SDG leadership; 4. Global digital economy and innovation governance; 5. Multilateral diplomacy and international cooperation. The management structure of UNGLEP includes the steering committee and four specialized committees: the strategic partnership development committee, the project management and execution committee, the funding and budget committee, the administration and supporting committee, and an independent risk management and ethics committee. The five operational centers include the regional management Center, ESG and SDGs project Center, international education and culture communication center, multinational company-colleague student internship & training center, digital economy and capacity building center.
