Ms. Gu Jing has over 20 years of experience in the energy and chemicals industry, with deep insight in the natural gas, green fuels and chemicals sectors.  As Executive Vice President of The Hong Kong and China Gas (Towngas), she oversees Towngas’ relationship with key stakeholders including government entities, industry associations, think tanks as well as business partners. Before joining Towngas, Ms. Gu held various senior positions in project development, JV governance, government relations, marketing and sales.  She worked for Shell for 20 years, in a suite of roles including GM of Shell Projects and Technology (China), GM Business Development of Coal Gasification, Vice Chair of Shell/Sinopec Coal Gasification JV, Business Advisor in the Shell Group Offices in London and The Hague.  Apart from Shell, Ms. Gu Jing has also worked in senior roles at Methanex, world’s largest methanol producer and INVISTA, world’s largest Nylon 66 producer.
