2026 Global Innovative Climate Finance Awards – Winners Announced
AI-Driven Innovation and Equitable Transition Take Spotlight as Major Outcomes Unveiled at UN AI for Good Summit
GENEVA – July 6, 2026 – The 2026 Global Innovative Climate Finance Awards today officially announced its full list of recipients, recognizing distinguished leaders, institutions, and individuals from around the world for their outstanding contributions to climate finance, carbon market governance, and inclusive green transition. Launched in April of this year, the awards were formally presented on July 6, 2026, at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva during the official WSIS side event, the Innovative Climate Finance & Investment High-end Roundtable Forum.
This year's award ceremony closely followed a landmark high-level side event held on July 18, 2026, as part of the UN AI for Good Global Summit. That gathering brought together government officials, UN bodies, sovereign wealth funds, and industry leaders. Co-convened by the UN Global Leadership & ESG Programme (UNGLEP) and its partners, the summit unveiled groundbreaking solutions to bridge the global climate investment gap, with a strong emphasis on leveraging artificial intelligence and blockchain to advance equitable digital transformation.
